Video Walkthrough - Purchasing a Phone Number and Completing ID Verification
To make calls for seminar confirmations through Eventful, you'll need to get a dedicated phone number. This process includes identity verification with a government-issued ID and selfie verification—requirements now mandated by telecommunications regulations to prevent fraud and ensure compliance. Once completed, your phone number will be active for calls, and our team can proceed with submitting your A2P application for text messaging capabilities.
Written Instructions (Alternative) - Purchasing a Phone Number and Completing ID Verification
Follow these steps to purchase a phone number and complete ID verification inside your Eventfull account.
Step 1: Log in to Eventfull
- Open your browser and go to your Eventfull login page.
- Enter your credentials and sign in.
Step 2: Go to Phone Number Settings
- In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
- Select Phone Numbers.
Step 3: Start the Purchase
- Click Add Phone Number.
- Click Filter.
Step 4: Find Your Local Area Code
- In the filter box, type the first 3 digits of your local area code.
- In the drop-down menu, select First Part of Number.
- Click Apply.
Step 5: Choose & Buy Your Number
- From the list of available numbers, choose the one you prefer.
- Click Proceed to Buy.
Step 6: Complete ID Verification (One-Time Process)
If you have not yet completed Persona ID verification, a pop-up will appear before the purchase is finalized.
- Document Upload
- Upload a valid government-issued ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.).
- The system will prompt you based on your country’s requirements.
- Facial Verification
- After uploading your ID, follow the prompts to complete a live selfie verification using your webcam or phone.
- Automatic Purchase
- Once verification is approved, your phone number will be purchased automatically.
Note: Persona verification only needs to be completed once on your account. Future number purchases or compliance actions will not require repeating this process.
