Best Practices for Post-Seminar Follow-Up
Maximize your seminar’s impact by tracking attendance, following up with leads, and ensuring compliance with outreach guidelines.
Step 1: Track Attendance in Eventfull
Use Eventfull’s pipeline management tab to differentiate between attendees and non-attendees. This allows for targeted automated follow-up based on who showed interest by attending.

Step 2: Follow Up with Permission to Contact (PTC) Forms
If you collected a PTC form from an attendee, it’s important to move them directly to the PTC stage in the pipeline, as this stage does not trigger automation. This ensures you retain control over the follow-up process and can reach out as appropriate without automated messages.
Step 3: Engage Attendees Interested in Appointments
When moving attendees to the attended stage in Eventfull, an automatic nurture sequence will be triggered. This sequence encourages attendees to respond if they’re interested in scheduling an appointment or if they have questions. Be mindful to only place attendees in this stage if they did not complete a PTC form. For those with a PTC form, move them to the PTC stage to manage their follow-up manually.
Step 4: Re-engage No-Shows
For any RSVP who did not attend, update their status in the pipeline to trigger an automatic nurture sequence. This sequence encourages them to reply if they’d like assistance or have any questions. If you prefer not to use automation, you can manually reach out to invite them to a future seminar or offer a one-on-one appointment.
Step 5: Compliance for Non-PTC Attendees
If an attendee did not complete a PTC form, you cannot call them after the event. Instead, use mail or email for follow-up. If using Eventfull, all email communications will automatically include an opt-out option to ensure compliance.
